What do you like best about childcare?

Working with children has reminded me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I love seeing things from their perspective. It makes me a happier and more positive person in my day-to-day life. Working with children also encourages me to use my imagination more and find new, creative ways to do things.

What's your favourite part of the job?

Spending time with the children and watching them develop and change over time.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I have worked in childcare for 18 years (now i feel old!) and I love every minute of it.

I have an 8 years old son of my own, who also attended at Panda and absolutely loved it. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and going away on holidays.

What's the funniest situation you recall since you started working at Panda?

The funniest moment since I’ve been at Panda was when Lisa and Joanna decided to pull a joke on me a few years back! Joanna has hidden inside the large cardboard box and Lisa rang me to say a huge parcel had been delivered – addressed to me. When I started opening the box Joanna jumped out of the box and scared the life out of me! We have all been laughing uncontrollably for ages! We also have many giggly moments when children tell us various stories.
